Dear readers,
Today, our “Budżet Polski” platform was officially launched and made available to the public. It is a website where we present the structure of the Polish state budget in a more accessible and visual way, showing what the state’s revenues are and, specifically, how budget funds are allocated.
Every year, there is a period in the media when the Polish national budget is a hot topic. The problem is that quite often we cannot visualize the reality behind the enormous numbers cited in the media and public debate; our platform aims to remedy this situation.
On the platform, you can find all budget laws from 2011 to 2026, as well as information on the implementation of the budget law from 2011 to 2025. All information on the platform comes from budget laws and from the Ministry of Finance’s reports on the implementation of the budget law.
Importantly, the platform contains only data from official sources and is based entirely on the budget act, which means that any extra-budgetary financing is not included in the calculations.
Wraz z rozpoczęciem projektu platformy opublikowaliśmy na naszym kanale na YouTube tutorial, jak korzystać z platformy i jakie zawiera funkcje. Zachęcam do zapoznania się:
I hope you find this a fruitful way to learn about the state of our homeland’s public finances!
