About Terra

A Kraków-based think tank founded by international relations students at the University of Economics in Kraków (UEK). We analyze contemporary geopolitics—objectively, based on hard data, and without a paywall.

In May 2026, seven international relations students at the Kraków University of Economics decided to establish a new analytical center. That is how the Terra Cracovianum think tank was born.

We wanted to create a place where we could conduct research that truly interests us and address issues that other institutions often overlook. Each of us brought our own area of passion—a field in which we truly specialize. By combining academic experience with a broad worldview, we shed new light on contemporary geopolitics.

We believe that the younger generation of analysts has a perspective to offer that is free from traditional frameworks—one that is flexible, reliable, and based on hard data. Our identity as residents of Kraków and the Lesser Poland region commits us to drawing on the intellectual traditions of this city, but we focus our attention on the global processes shaping the future of Poland, Europe, and the world.
